Annual Plan
According to the approved Annual Plan of Kumarapuram Grama Panchayat for the financial year 2026–27, development projects worth a total of ₹7.69 crore have been planned. The largest share of the allocation has been earmarked for the social welfare sector, with significant investments in Life Mission housing projects, healthcare services, nutrition programmes, and palliative care. Considerable emphasis has also been given to the productive sector by promoting agriculture, dairy development, and women's self-employment groups. At the same time, substantial funding has been allocated for infrastructure development, including road construction, drainage systems, and public amenities. Special schemes have been included for the Scheduled Caste community covering education, housing, and social assistance, while the allocation for the Scheduled Tribe community remains comparatively low. Overall, the plan reflects a people-centric development approach focused on ensuring essential services and improving public welfare. However, greater emphasis on employment generation, digital transformation, and long-term economic growth would further strengthen sustainable development.
